About Altris
Our journey began in 2015 when Ronnie Mogensen, a master’s student at the Ångström Advanced Battery Centre at Uppsala University, came across an enlightening study on sodium-ion batteries by the renowned scientist and Nobel laureate, John B. Goodenough. In search of a cathode for his master’s degree experiments, Ronnie teamed up with his supervisor, Associate Professor Reza Younesi, and material chemistry expert, Associate Professor William Brant. Together, they innovated their first Prussian White process.
